Custom Carpentry

By its nature, any custom project is labour intensive and can be costly, However, I always strive for efficiency, and will do my best to recommend the most effective path to reach your objective.
At the moment, I am charging $40 - $60/hour, plus material cost — this generally averages $400/day, once you account for material acquisition and installation.
The minimum length of a job is 2 days.

Once we have clearly defined the scope of project and agreed upon final price. Prior to beginning work, I require initial non-refundable deposit that shall cover material expenses.
At the end of the project, I will provide a time lapse video with a timestamp to account for my hours, and relinquish all of the receipts for project materials.
If it is something that I am making in my workshop, then 90% of final payment upon delivery, and the remainder upon installation.
In case of on site work, it’ll be dependent on project length.
For small projects, final payment is upon completion, and extensive projects will be split into different stages, where each individual stage will be treated as a small projects.

Most likely — unique items are my specialty! However if it a mass produced item, I would highly recommend trying to find a variation of it that suits your needs.

Everything that I build is intended to outlast me. As long the failure occurred during normal use (ie. you didn’t try parking your SUV on your deck), I would be happy to rectify my oversight.
